5 steps to delegation and supervision
There are 5 steps to delegating and supervising that guarantee that your expectations are met and success results are achieved. See first 2 steps... By BT
Step One:The first step in delegation is to become perfectly clear about the results that you desire from the job. The greater clarity you have with regard to the results expected, the easier it is for you to select the right person to do the job.
Step Two:The second step is to select a person based on his or her demonstrated ability or success at doing this job. Never delegate an important job to a person who has never done it before. If the successful completion of the task is important to the success of your business, it is essential that you delegate it to someone who you confidently believe can complete the task satisfactorily.

How to Do Market Research--The Basics
Is your business a product in search of a customer? Use these tips to create a product or service customers will clamor for.
Marketing research can give a business a picture of what kinds of new products and services may bring a profit. For products and services already available, marketing research can tell companies whether they are meeting their customers' needs and expectations. By researching the answers to specific questions, small-business owners can learn whether they need to change their package design or tweak their delivery methods--and even whether they should consider offering additional services.
"Failure to do market research before you begin a business venture or during its operation is like driving a car from Texas to New York without a map or street signs," says William Bill of Wealth Design Group LLC in Houston. "You have know which direction to travel and how fast to go. A good market research plan indicates where and who your customers are. It will also tell you when they are most likely and willing to purchase your goods or use your services."
When you conduct marketing research, you can use the results either to create a business and marketing plan or to measure the success of your current plan. That's why it's important to ask the right questions, in the right way, of the right people. Research, done poorly, can steer a business in the wrong direction. Here are some market-research basics that can help get you started and some mistakes to avoid. ARTICLE BY Lesley Spencer Pyle.

7 disciplines you must develop. PRT 1
There are 7 disciplines you must develop if you want to achieve all that is possible for you. You can learn these disciplines through practice and repetition until they become automatic. Today I will walk u through the first 4. BTs
Goal Setting Every morning, take 3 to 5 minutes to write out your top goals in the present tense. Get a spiral notebook for this purpose. By writing out your 10 goals at the beginning of each day, you will program them deep into your subconscious mind.
This daily goal writing will activate your mental powers. It will stimulate your mind and make you more alert. Throughout the day, you will see opportunities and possibilities to move more rapidly toward your goals.
Planning and Organizing Take a few minutes, preferably the night before, to plan out every activity of the coming day. Always work from a list. Always think on paper. This is one of the most powerful and important disciplines of all for high performance.
Priority Setting
The essence of all time management, personal management, and life management is contained in your ability to set proper priorities and use of your time. This is essential for high performance.
Concentration on your Highest-Value Activities Your ability to work single-mindedly on your most important task will contribute as much to your success as any other discipline you can develop. Have a great day

Third and 4th part of visualization Prt2
How Clearly?
The third element of visualization is vividness. There is a direct relationship between how clearly you can see your desired goal or result in your mind and how quickly it comes into your reality. This element of visualization is what explains the powers of the Law of Attraction and the Law of Correspondence. The vividness of your desire directly determines how quickly it materializes in the world around you. Here is an interesting point. When you set a new goal for yourself, your image or picture of this goal will usually be vague and fuzzy. But the more often you write it, review it, and repeat it mentally, the clearer it becomes for you. Eventually, it will become crystal clear. At that point, the goal will suddenly appear in your world exactly as you imagined it.
How Intensely?
The fourth element of visualization is intensity, the amount of emotion that you attach to your visual image. In reality, this is the most important and powerful part of the visualization process. Sometimes, if your emotion is intense enough and your visual image is clear enough, your goal will immediately come true. Of course, the elements of frequency, duration, vividness, and intensity can help you or hurt you. Like nature, the power of visualization is neutral. Like a two-edged sword, it can cut in either direction. It can either make you a success or make you a failure. Visualization brings you whatever you vividly and intensely imagine, whether good or bad.

Continually feed your mind with clear, exciting, emotional pictures. Remember, your imagination is your preview of lifes coming attractions.(BT)

The first and second aspect of visualization
Dear friends,
Did you know that there are four parts of visualization that you can learn and practice to assure that you use this incredible power to its best advantage all the days of your life. See what my friend BT has to say:
How Often?
The first aspect of visualization is frequency, the number of times that you visualize a particular goal as achieved of yourself performing in an excellent way in a particular event or circumstance. The more frequently you repeat a clear mental picture of your very best performance or result, the more rapidly it will appear as part of your reality.
How Long?
The second element of visualization is the duration of the mental image, the length of time that you can hold the picture in your mind each time you replay it. When you deeply relax, you can often hold a mental picture of yourself performing at your best for several seconds, and even several minutes. The longer you can hold your mental picture, the more deeply it will be impressed into your subconscious mind and the more rapidly it will express itself in your subsequent performance.

Personal Excellence
Personal excellence is perhaps the most important of all invisible and intangible assets that you can acquire. Achieving personal excellence in your business or industry requires lifelong dedication. But once you get into the top 10 percent of your field, you will be one of the highest paid people in the country. You will enjoy the respect and esteem of the people around you. You will be able to live your life the way you want to live it. You will enjoy high levels of self-esteem, self-respect, and personal pride. Self pride not as in be full of oneself! The truth is excellence is a spirit. We found this truth in a beautiful and inspiring bestselling Book ; ( Daniel 5:12 )“Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.’’ Have a great day! A social business can be a good business, too
The same tools and processes that go into creating a social business can also be put to use for social good. To test this notion and in honor of its 100th anniversary, IBM asked every employee “to take a full day and dedicate it to skills-based service.” Calling it the Centennial Celebration of Service, thousands of IBMers shared their expertise and then their experiences on IBM100.com. “Now you have in this social business program the permissioning and guidance matched with content so IBMers can get started and experiment [with social business],” said McCarty.

“One bite at a time.” (FC)
You don’t need to eat the whole social business elephant in one biteWhen asked, “How do you eat an elephant?” the sage pygmy replied, “One bite at a time.” And so it is with social business initiatives. IBM itself tried a number of different approaches internally: First by using a wiki to draft its social computing guidelines, and more recently by offering a “Social Computing Demystified” course to help more IBMers become digital citizens. These smaller building blocks helped pave the way for bigger initiatives like the expertise locator that now taps into nearly 3,000 IBMers from around the world.
Becoming a social business (FC)
Your employees need to be digital citizens, tooBecoming a social business means recognizing the need for your employees to become “digital citizens” and providing the training for them to manage their digital reputations. Accordingly, IBM not only trains its experts extensively, it is now building out “personal dashboards” to help them see the impact of their various interactions. “Good conversation creates good outcomes and that brings value to the organization and to the individual,” McCarty said.
Social media will be dwarfed by social business (FC)
Social media will be dwarfed by social businessWhile social media has helped many companies become more customer-centric, it is treated primarily as a modestly effective marketing tool. McCarty explained, “Social media is about media and people, which is one dimension of the overall world of business. With social business you start to look at the way people are interacting in digital experiences and apply the insights derived to a wide variety of different business processes.”

Percieving Yourself Accurately
How you perceive yourself determines how you behave. Perceive that you are powerless and you will act as if you are. Perceive yourself as inadequate and you carry yourself in that manner. Perceive that you are worthwhile, competent, capable, and effective, and things shift in your favor. Perceiving yourself accurately is a skill to be learned. Make it a priority to develop proper thinking regarding who you truly are in Christ Jesus. It is very important that we renew our mind Rom:12:2.

Setting and Achieving Your Goals
The Seven Step Process for Setting and Achieving Your Goals
''Hi. I am so glad you came. Humm. setting and achieving goals is one of the most difficult issue i see people struggle with. I was going through BT's note about setting and achieving goals! I just recently finished my third book project, I needed to set a clear goal, time line for myself! I know and I believe you have what it takes to do the same as well.'' Mercedes Monden.
First, decide exactly what you want in each area of your life. Be specific!
Second, write it down, clearly and in detail;
Third, set a specific deadline. If it is a large goal, break it down into sub-deadlines and write them down in order;
Fourth, make a list of everything you can think of that you are going to have to do to achieve your goal. As you think of new items, add them to your list;
Fifth, organize the items on your list into a plan by placing them in the proper sequence and priority;
Sixth, take action immediately on the most important thing you can do on your plan. This is very important!
Seventh, do something every day that moves you toward the attainment of one or more of your important goals. Maintain the momentum!
Only by discovering your innate strengths...by developing them...exploiting them to their highest degree-can you ever fully realize the greatest amount of satisfaction and enjoyment in everything you do.
Thanks for reading.

Learn To Make Better Decisions
Learn To Make Better Decisions
Every choice or decision you make is based on your values. Whenever you decide between alternatives, you invariably choose the alternative that you value the most. Because you can only do one thing at a time, everything you do is a demonstration of what you consider to be the most important at that moment. Therefore, organizing your values in an order of priority is the starting point of personal strategic planning. It is only when you are clear about what you value, and in what order, that you are capable of planning and organizing the other activities of your life.

Focus on Very Few Core Beliefs
Focus on Very Few Core Beliefs
But then reality sets in. I realized that it is very hard to learn even one new quality, or to change even one thing about myself, let alone dozens of things. So I scaled down my ambitions and began narrowing the values down to a small number that I could manage and work with. Once I had settled on about five core beliefs, I was then able to get to work on myself and start making some progress in character development.

Write Out Your Key Values! Part 1
Write Out Your Key Values
When I first began this values clarification exercise some years ago, I wrote out a list of 163 qualities that I aspired to. I think I eventually came up with every virtue, value or positive descriptive adjective that referred to personality and character in the dictionary. And I agreed with all of them. I felt that they were all important and I wanted to incorporate every single one of them into my character. BT

Clarify Your Values. Part 1
Decide What You Stand For!
What are your values? What do you stand for? What are the organizing principles of your life? What are your core beliefs? What virtues do you aspire to, and hold in high regard when you see them demonstrated by others? What will you not stand for? What would you sacrifice for, suffer for, and even die for? These are extremely important questions that are only asked by about three percent of the population, and that small minority tends to be the movers and shakers in every society. Choose To Believe
If you choose to believe you are able to succeed in the face of and in spite of setbacks, obstacles, and opposition, you increase the probability of achieving desired outcomes. Failure becomes motivational feedback for your growth potential. When you choose to see the resistance you meet as an opportunity to rise to the challenge, you will see yourself in a new light, rise to a new height, and even leap over walls.MC

How successful is your advertising?
How successful is your advertising? If you're like a lot of small business owners, you believe your advertising efforts are working because you're making sales. But do you know which ads are working?
If not, it's time to get a better handle on your advertising ROI. After all, why waste money buying advertising that isn’t working?
What you need to look at are two things: Which specific ads bring in customers and what advertising media results in new business. An ad placed in a weekly shopper-type publication may draw new business week after week, while the same ad place in a weekly local tabloid-format newspaper may not attract any new customers. Or, vice versa.
You can find out which ads and media are producing customers by tracking responses to your ads.
One common way to track ads is to code coupons so you know what publication or mailing they came from. For instance, if you're running a 15%-off coupon in several local publications, change the ad slightly for each publication by including the initials of the publication or some other identifying information in very small print just inside the coupon dotted line. Be sure you or your employees collect the coupons and at the end of the promotion, tally them up to see which local publication produced the most new customers.
If there is a significant difference in response, consider dropping the publication with the lowest response rate and substituting another in its place.
If customers call your business rather than sending in coupons, you can track advertising results by telling people to call special extension numbers or to ask for a specific individual. For instance your radio ad might say to call Jack for details. Your print ad, might say to dial your phone number and ask for extension 25. Whoever answers your phone would keep a list of all incoming calls, noting what extension or name was asked for.
You can track pay per click advertising, too. Most pay per click ad networks let you include tracking code on the end of each ad you write. (You put a slash at the end of the url, and following the slash, enter the tracking code.)
Track your ad results until you have enough data to make an informed decision. Then, analyze the data to see which ads and which placements work best for you. Reallocate your ad spending accordingly. (Attard research) http://breathofholieseurop
